The law of conservation of energy means that energy can neither be created nor destroyed; rather, it can only be transformed from one form to another. Said to be discovered by Albert Einstein but he was also adopted by the Hopi people, and Indigenous languages have the expression of quantum physics in them, unlike English. This picture literally shows the way little Yoki brightened up my days. I’ve had her since she was a puppy. So many instances where she made me laugh and supported my heart when it was broken for the past 15 years. Last night she passed away and today I feel so lost. I love you so so much little Yoki, little Yoki. 😢💔 Biixoo3è3en . . . Please be very careful about the dog food you give your dogs. I fed Yoki @bluebuffalo and after I took Yoki to the vet, I found out this brand is known to give dogs dilated cardiomyopathy (enlarged heart) 😢 even though it says “Grain Free” on their packaging. Her whole life all I wanted was to keep her healthy, little did I know that this dog food was hurting her heart. 😢

Supporting my friends from across the ocean in Australia @winangali_infusion . They are “Black fellas and Indigenous” as they would explain it. They were slaves all the way up until the 1970’s and they have the unique situation of being both...Indigenous and Black. I saw the prejudice in Australia. Low key and overt just like America. Buddy, the founder had asked me to post about his gear that tells this story. Buy and support Black owned businesses. From here and afar. THE DHINAWAN STORY Dhinawan (emu) Hoodie is inspired by & represented by the start of Dhinawan season. The key indicator is found in the buluuy (sky) when you look to the Mirri (stars) and locate Yarran (The Southern Cross), which is located in the Southern Hemisphere looking southeast. Once you locate this special place in the sky you will see the two-pointer Mirri’s pointing to the southeast. These two Mirri’s are the Murraay (Sulfur Crested white cockatoo). They are the protectors of this sacred place in the sky. As you gaze more you can locate the Dhinawan looking to the left of the Yarran (southern cross) and it’s neck running along the Murraay (pointer stars). This constellation is not outlined by the stars it is actually a dark silhouette stretched across the southern sky. During the time of April-May as the weather and landscapes change into the cooler months, the Dhinawan is chasing her mate (the male Dhinawan). Then we know around June-July it’s time to head out and search for those yummy eggs to provide food for our families. Whilst this is happening the male Dhinawan is sitting on the eggs to ensure that the incubation process is carried out as he is the Bubaa (father) & protector of his Waalaybaa Dhiiyaan (Family & Home). Once the eggs hatch in mid to late August he will then share his knowledge of our land, lore, and survival to his little chics. As the season progresses into Late Spring which is around November the female Dhinawan will fade along the horizon of the southwestern sky in our sacred waterhole. This indicates the rainy season is coming. This story is based upon our traditional way of life and the seasons are now being affected by climate change.
